Dominion Energy drinks will be introduced nationally and in some states in 2018, with some of the new drinks coming to Victoria and South Australia as well as the ACT and WA, according to energy drinks manufacturer Dominion.
“We’re confident that these drinks will prove to be a great addition to our portfolio of products that are designed for athletes and consumers, and we look forward to introducing them in our portfolio in the future,” Dominion chief executive officer Paul Boulton said.
Dominion, which is based in Sydney, introduced Dominion Zero in 2013, and is also a pioneer in the field of carbonated drinks, which are made from sugar water and other additives that are known to increase the risk of colorectal cancer.
A new energy drink called Dominion Power, which will be released on Thursday, will also be introduced nationwide in 2018.
It is currently available only in the United States and will be available in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland in 2018 or 2019.
“With Dominion’s continued growth and diversification in energy drinks, our goal is to deliver Dominion to every corner of the world, including Australia, so we’re pleased to be announcing our commitment to this market globally,” Mr Boultons said.
The Dominion products are sold in more than 20 countries and will not be available anywhere else in Australia.
Domination has been awarded a $25 million research grant by the Australian Research Council, and Mr Bouston said the company was also working on new products.
“Dominion Energy Drink is the culmination of our journey to introduce a range of energy drinks that meet the needs of athletes and athletes-owners who want to take their sports into the future with confidence and control,” he said.
